Estimated Delivery Date (EDD) | Pipe17 Glossary
EDD (estimated delivery date)
An estimated delivery date (EDD) is the shopper-facing date a delivery is expected to arrive, computed from fulfillment location, carrier service levels, transit times, and cutoffs. The date changes as those inputs change: the EDD shown after a cutoff passes may differ from the one shown that morning. Producing it is the job of order promising.
