# Order orchestration

Order orchestration is the coordination of every step an order takes across systems: capture, validation, promising, routing, fulfillment handoff, tracking, and settlement. Where routing makes one decision, orchestration keeps the whole flow moving and consistent across channels, warehouses, and back-office systems.
